FYI - NFL Channel showing Steerers at Giants from Dec 2004

on Monday 10 am PDT - features rookie QB's BB and E Manning. Something to do (DVR) while we all sit around waiting for the first Camp report and Steeler MB 2.0 to kick in. Other than the horrible way the 2004-05 season ended, it is rarely ever held up there as one of Steeler's greatest seasons which it was - 15 and 1 regular record even with a rookie QB. Back to back victories over the eventual SB contenders Pats and Eagles. Can't even find a DVD of highlights from 2004. Enjoy.

 

I wish they'd get another game. The Steelers have played dozens of classic games over the last 10 years, many of them better than that one. What's the obsession with Eli vs. Ben as rookies? There's more than one storyline in the world, not that it's necessary.

Nothing against that game. I love it. But NFL Network has re-run it 5 times in the last couple years, and almost no other Steelers games. They aren't even trying.

Personally, I remember a victory over the Rich Gannon Raiders (2001 I think?) that was pretty cool.
