Steelers next franchise QB graduates from 8th grade in 2022. 2030 the NFL goes to a 19 game regular season with 20 teams making the playoffs and due to the touchy feeling culture it's now flag football and you can't swear. In 2032 an 80 year old Jack Lambert figures he can hang with this group of players and leads the Steelers in flags pulled out of pockets for MVP season leading the Steelers to SB #9.

1. Random but did anyone remember the all star college vs NFL teams back in the 70s? They would take the top drafted rookie players and put them against legit NFL teams..... Green bay even lost one year, while they were coming off a Superbowl win.

2. Also rookies got hurt so bad that NFL teams who were building for their first few years (like saints, falcons). Got royally pissed because they lost so many of their top players for the first few years. Therefore the NFL shut down the all star game.

I do remember it and I thought of it the time a college baseball team beat the Pirates (kind of like a college baseball team) in a exhibition game.

 

I didn't know that about baseball.

Silly useless fact: Pittsburgh Steelers are the first team to go 3-1 in the pre-season in the new 17 game NFL era.

 

Now if We can be the 1st team 2 Win the SB....in same 17 game era....that would be awesome
