Wow, what a bunch of idiots. Kathy is a freaking delusional idiot. To her Rice's knock out left hook was okay because she gave him a backhand swat AFTER he spit in her face. That interviewer let her off easy. I would have pressed her on that fact and made her look even dumber than she is.

I saw this today when I got home and I just couldn't hardly believe it. It is sad how many people try to justify bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior.

Rice is now appealing the indefinite suspension. Such a class act. If he considers himself a victim he is even more of a bad guy than we thought.

He has to appeal it. Could mean he doesnt play again. Also, he was given an initial suspension, then it was lengthned.

    Wow thats pretty bad.

I was thinking about the way each team, the Steelers and the Ravens, handled their domestic abuse cases and how starkly different they were. By all accounts the Rooneys were actually lobbying Goodell to be tough on Roethliseberger while Biscotti was actively trying to minimize the fall out and suspension. Very interesting.

The article did however bring up Ben's reduction in suspension as an indication of how close he is to the Rooneys. A bit of a mischactercterization IMO because he still served double the Rice suspension for an accusation (or two) as compared to an actual arrest.

Wow, this is horrible! Now I've got a reason to respect John Harbaugh! WTH?! My opinion of him is changed.

Now maybe when some of us question Goodells integrity, it won't be dismissed so easily.

Don't know why everyone feels this guy is a saint and incapable of having less than stellar morals. He played favorites with Kraft and now with Bisciotti. And I'm even more convinced than ever that he was letting his personal feelings affect his treatment of JH, he was clearly gunning for him.

Please please let it be known that he viewed that video :praying:

So for all this time people have been photoshopping the horns OUT of his pics? Good to finally see him for who he really is.

Yep. If this account is accurate, then Jim Harbaugh just gained quite a few points with me.

And I'll say it again....Ray Rice is getting f**ked in this whole deal. Not to excuse anything he did...and if he could keep his hands to himself none of this would be...but it seems Ray did the right thing in regards to coming clean and telling the truth after the incident. Everyone else...Biscotti, Newsome, Goodelll, etc...tried to cover for him for their own selfish reasons ($$$$) and now that they're busted, he's getting thrown under the bus.

I dont see it as Rice getting ****ed, hes getting what should have been his punishment from the start. I agree that the others are railroading him now to save their own ass, hopefully some more people get what they deserve too.

Actually I think his punishment could possibly be worse now. He's lost this season for sure and deservedly so. But there is a real possibility that he may never get another chance to play in the NFL. As bad as what he did is, the man was forthcoming and truthful from the very beginning. Had everyone else been as truthful as he was and hammered him from the get go instead of trying to cover everything up for their own gain...and then thrown him under the bus...this story would have never blown up the way it did and he would have been months into his suspension.

IMO, had Goodell given him 8+ games from the beginning this wouldn't be such a scandal. And/or had Biscotti listened to Harbaugh and released him he may have had a chance to play this season...for another team.

Although no one is shedding a tear for Rice, and deservedly so, he is going to suffer extra consequences for everyone elses shenanigans.

And that somebody will probably be the Raiders. I just always think of them as the home of the bottom feeding thugs. Also I could see Jerry Jones taking him because he will do anything to get a camera in his face. Where do you envision him going? I just don't see a "reputable" organization taking him. I could be wrong though. It would be the first time since January 6 1982 but still. Just sayin'.
