I think if given a true chance Mason will surprise some. Of course people with their minds already made up....some will make excuses for it.
Honestly I just want them 2 have a true battle at Qb , and may the best man win. If we draft one in the 1st, or bring in one already making more than the Qbs we have....Well ....You can throw true competition out the window.

I will believe the Bengals are going to spend big on outside free agents when I see it.

Of course, Rodgers could be lying. He may just want to drag the mystery out longer so he can get more attention.

I saw a Tweet. I can't remember if it was here or another message board, but the idea was that Rodgers is like that pretty girl who needs to be told she is pretty all the time.

You're right their ownership doesn't spend big either. But I feel like someone is gonna come forth and give more guaranteed money up front than the Steelers are willing.

They've been shrewd lately. The old "it's the Bengals" and owner Brown may no longer apply. They got that stud DE sack machine in FA and fixed a big problem.
If they keep making moves like that, even if still under the cap, then the future is bright over there. Sadly for us.

We are moving towards being the Browngals under Tomlin and Rooney. The standard just got moved to the basement with a can of roach spray.

I never said they were stupid, though there have certainly been times that applied. They can be smart, yet continue to be cheap.

Sure would have been nice if the Steelers could have figured out a way to get Russell Wilson now Denver nabbed him up.

Since Blast is in your name I can only imagine what you're like :smiley1:

I'm fine with them making a play for him. But unless the Steelers bend like they did with Watt and give more guaranteed money, they'll likely lose out. Unfortunately the way things work now.

He was never really in play. He didn't want to play in the east coast.

Denver gave up a ton for him. I suspect Seattle got the best of the deal, particularly if they get a QB in the next draft or two.

I believe they have more cap than We do. They actually spent quite a bit on the D in the last 2 years, but for all We know they may never see a year like last year.

He's 31 and has been one the best MLBs around for years. I mean, hell yeah, I'm interested.

Say what now. He’s older than Jensen who is among the top lineman and you poo-pooed that idea, lol.

Yep. I don't see any other FA ILBs I like. Not much better in the draft. Much different with OL options.
