Cant replace shazier, but can draft another stud. If shazier recovers fully and both them out there, watch out.

No way on Timmons, yeah he was a great player for us but it was clear he lost not just a step but a few and in our playoff game vs the Cheats it was very noticeable. The only way I want to see this is if we draft a kid like Young from UCLA and let him learn from LT while playing on passing downs cause LT is ssssssssslooooooowwwwwwwwwwww.

I would love to see us get this kid he is the real deal inside or outside big at 6-4 240 fast and strong:

Boise State redshirt junior LB Leighton Vander Esch said that he's been told by multiple scouts and agents that he will be drafted no later than the second round.
Vander Esch (6'4/240) declared for the draft earlier on Thursday. While he has not yet heard back from the NFL draft advisory board, the early buzz he has received has been encouraging. A stout run defender, the linebacker absolutely dominated on the statistical board this season, registering 141 tackles (third most in the NCAA), four sacks and a pair of interceptions for the campaign. "Leighton’s a very good player," one scout told the Idaho Statesman, "got the height, weight, the speed, he’s productive, he’s got great length." That evaluator added that Vander Esch "has all the measurables you want." Thu, Dec 21, 2017 04:02:00 PM

Timmons made some very good plays in 2016 and got after the QB with Miami this year. He’s lost speed, however, he has experience and could be a great mentor. He’s heads above Sean Spence and we don’t have a whole lot of say... cash. I imagine Moats is probably done, I see they still have several on the practice/futures squad. Keith Kelsey was great at Louisville, but his speed is limited as is his height.

Josie Jewell ILB out of Iowa. 6'2, 236 lbs and quick. He makes plays all over the field. I'm a bit of a Big Ten homer but he is really good.
