They had similar numbers last year but Boyd did it as the number 3 receiver behind Chase and Higgins.

They’ll be adding one more, probably one of the big names in the draft.

Harrison is a top 10 pick, I think Ordunze will go outside of that. Won’t cost as much to move up.

Can’t believe he found a team after the stunt he pulled in New Orleans.

Flacco played pretty good up until the last game and he wanted to stay.

Like NDsteelerfan said, Browns gonna Browns.

No, Boyd isn't even that good anymore, he's a #3 WR and a slot guy not outside WR.

He did nothing with the Ravens, let some other team overpay for him.

Can’t believe it either. I take explicit insubordination very seriously but I guess it’s no biggie to the Browns. Of course, I can’t believe they broke the bank for the sexual deviant, Watson either. Like y’all said…

    Last 2 years Diontae as a #1 and Boyd as a #3

Diontae Johnson 137 REC 1599 YDS 5 TD

Tyler Boyd 125 REC 1429 YDS 7 TD

Not a significant downgrade and not a brain dead meathead

I know that if Boyd wanted to sign for cheap, then it might be a good move.

There's a difference in playing the slot with two stud WRs on your team, and a franchise QB in Burrow that Boyd played with, Diontae played with below average QBs and only one other good WR on his team.

There was a lot more opportunity to shine being the #3 in Cincy with Joe Burrow than there is being Kenny's #1B/#2 in Pittsburgh. Its hard to argue that it isn't a significant downgrade.

Bengals averaged 4,068 yards passing per year the last 2 years, the Steelers averaged 3,287 yards passing per year in that same span. Boyd accounted for 17.6% of the yards gained passing, while DJ accounted for 24.3% of the yards gained passing. He also did this in 3 games less played, so if you account for the 3 missed games he accounted for 26.7% of the yards gained passing.

I like Boyd both as a player and as a person. He is not on the same level of player as Diontae Johnson. That being said, he'd be a great short term #3 if we end up drafting another young guy to pair with Pickens. Pickens/Rnd 1-2 Draft pick/Boyd/Austin looks pretty solid.

Are they 1-5 on your draft board?

Thats why I only went back to last season, Boyd had Browning throwing to him. Still better QB play than DJ had but he’s not Burrow and he was behind Chase and Higgins.

They get a stud #2 and they significantly upgrade the WR room.
