I think we need to put aside past behaviors with this new regime. Khan seems to be marching to his own drum and he may not like tipping their hand like that. We’ll see if that trend continues this draft but wouldnt surprise me if they change things up moving forward on how they make picks.

Well put. Khan has made it very clear that he doesn't do business the way Colbert did for all of those years.

After seven seasons together, the Chargers are releasing WR Mike Williams, per source. The move will save the Chargers $20 million against their cap and Williams will become a free agent.

He is coming back from a torn ACL, so who knows how effective he will be. Also, a big part of his game is contested catches. They have Pickens to do that. A second guy like that isn't a bad thing, but they need someone who is going to run good routes and get open.

Now if it was Keenan Allen, I'd be excited.

    I am not so sure.

Kahns inaugural season saw the likes of Broderick Jones and Darnell Washington. These two are being brought up because, as you guessed it, Kahn and Colbert are at Georgia again. It wouldn't shock me to see the team take two more players from that Program.

I would still trade a late round draft pick for fields. RW won't be here more than 2 years max. that's even if he is the starter

No one is going to pick up Fields' $20M 5th year option so you'd be trading a pick (it would have to be a 6th at this point) to have him for one year. Maybe it's worth that to get a long look at him up close and decide if you want him next year instead of Wilson or KP. I just don't see that happening or being worth it though. And that's if Chicago would even accept a pick that low, which I realize they may end up having to.

He didn’t like Pickett at QB, could that be an indication they still plan on giving Pickett one more shot?

Williams and Hunter Renfrow now on the market, and no one signing WRs. Market price is going to plunge in two days.

Williams has trouble staying healthy, which is too bad because he's a talent on the field.

Allen has a $5M roster bonus due Sunday. The Chargers are still tight against the cap, so reports have them pondering a possible trade or release.
