As of right now, Finney would be a starter as well with Foster retired. He should be a priority ahead of Hilton, who was sharing time as the nickel corner with Sutton last season.

Wonder if their receivers will be good enough for him. I'm moving from Tampa now, can't stand that guy.

Can’t argue with that but the cost of retaining Hilton on a second round tender is a fraction of what it will take to retain Finney. It’s a no brainer to keep Hilton for another year.

I’ll be very interested to see what Finney is offered on the market.

Also Hilton played 400 more snaps than Sutton,so they didn’t exactly share snaps. Sutton only had a few more snaps than he had the previous year. To me that shows they clearly prefer Hilton over Sutton or their snap counts would of been more comparable...jmo

Yes Sutton was the dime backer but I think he was on the field more and more as the season wore on, at least that’s how I remember it. I was impressed by him when he was on the field, ideally you want to keep both Sutton and Hilton for 2020. They are great value, both will be unrestricted free agents at the end of 2020 season but that’s a worry for another day

I wonder if Dark Hoodie tries to trade for Brissett and get him back in the fold.

Bengals got CB Trae Waynes from the Vikes. They now have 51 CBs on their roster and are expected to draft 2 more...

I am not sure. Someone like Andy Dalton would seem like a good fit. Josh Rosen via trade?! Doubtful but Bill Belichick does not adhere to the conventional conduct of the NFL. Jamie's Winston remains a wild card for me.

Evans and Godwin are up there as one of the best wide receiver duos in the league for me

I think Ben has more game in
They still have to clear up more cash, but they will. They just, wisely so, want to have some cash going into the later part of FA, which has been there MO over the past several years. They won't have enough for anything major, but they want some there just in case a deal comes across their board. With all the movement this year from the new CBA they want something in reserve for "that" bargain or two that falls into their lap.

sutton was the dime. He only played 25% of the plays on defense. Hilton played the most plays he ever did last year. 265 plays for sutton, 671 plays for hilton.

Chris Godwin is underrated in my opinion. A top 15 receiver in my opinion who does not get the respect he deserves. I can imagine that, assuming Brady still has it in him, Chris is going to ascend to new heights.

Godwin is very good, I agree. However to me the biggest beneficiary if Brady goes to Tampa will be OJ Howard.

That's what I meant tag tender you know what I meant but I guess I thought it had to be done Monday. I think the 2nd round tender is worth 3.278 mil and that is what I think we should put on Hilton and Feiler.

Without a doubt on O.J. Bruce will work his magic for certain to see to that. O.J. Howard's talent has not wained at all. The issue has been QB play.

O.J. Howard still has plenty of talent to spare. Tom Brady loves his safety valves. Much like it was for Gronk, I suspect that O.J. Howard will take the league by storm in 2020.

With the standout play of Nelson and Haden, Hilton's contributions were often overlooked. He is very good at what he does, and not as easily replaced as some might think.

I know there is an expectation of a big cap increase next year, and the Steelers MO has always been to restructure, but man that looks like a huge chuck of change they have moved into the future.
