Both James Conner and Vance MacDonald are fragile babies. Neither one can be counted on to play many minutes. Is T. J. Watt becoming a fragile baby. We know Dud Dupree is a fragile baby. Groin injuries can linger forever and some times require surgery. Conner and Sean Davis probably can't be counted on to deliver at a high level. Who else does or could qualify as a fragile baby?

Can you imagine JC putting in 20 touches per game for 3 games in a row? Yea, me neither. VM will only be able to put 2-3 games together before he goes down too.

James Conner worked his butt off in the off season and came into camp in the best shape that he has ever physically been in. I don't see him as being fragile.

Vance Mcdonald is taking fragile to a whole new level. I know it's unpopular to say, but if he dosent find his way on to the field soon he might end up with a rubbing down strippers with Lev Bell.

It has little to do with being in shape in his case; his running style and make up are tailor made to create injuries. I have stated this on the day they drafted him.

I wouldn’t say it’s just started. Watt and VM have missed the entire Latrobe experience

Was Conner avail for practice last year? Was Conner available for all 17 games last season? Was MacDonald available for the games he was here for? Is he available for this year's training camp? Has Dupree been available many games since he has been a Steeler. Etc., etc., etc.

I know where your coming from he is our 11th highest paid player and is due 4.3 mil this year and 5.1, 6.4 and 6.4 the next 3 years. 14 rec for 188 yds last season in 10 games but his 10 rec for 112 yds in the playoff game is what everyone remembers. Very talented players however has shown he has injury problems in his short career. Keeping my fingers crossed cause he can be on heck of a weapon for Ben but not if he isn't on the field.

And so it was told, that the wind suddenly gained traction and blew in their direction. With this, the franchise as we know it, the great Pittsburgh Steelers were decimated.

While I get the sense of calling them "fragile", I don't really see why they're "babies".

It's the kind of unnecessary name-calling that makes threads like these ridiculous. James Connor is a "baby"? Come on.

It's just the internet tough guy syndrome that is so evident in today's society. I'd bet those type of people wouldn't even walk up to the ball boy and call him that for fear of getting their clock cleaned.

Yep, pretty easy to call someone a name on here. (In my dad voice) "This is what's wrong with this country!" Really, social media has made it way too easy to say whatever a person wants without any repercussions. I remember when someone would have a called a James Conner type a "fragile baby" and said someone would have left minus a few teeth. Now they call it bullying. Before anyone says it, no, I do not believe in bullying, however I don't think everything in this world fits into a catch-all label. Anyhow, we will see how fragile some of these guys are as the season goes. Next man up, unleash hell, ebb and flow, all that good stuff!

The Steelers are the only team with injuries?
My guess is that most of these injuries are minor and they're just being cautious?
Greg Llyod was injured his first two seasons was he a fragile baby?
The only fragile babies are the fans that are crying about it.

I'm pulling for the guy too. When he's on the field he is a difference maker. Problem is he is rarely on the field. This is why San Fran traded him in the first place. I hope the. Steelers do their dillegence in making a decision on Vance. If Vance is going to be a healthy contributor for most of the season then he will be a near pro bowl player IMO. But if he is going to miss half the year nursing his foot then just cut him after camp and save the money.
