Finney has proven he can play but Foster is a good run blocker and we are going to need to pound the football.

 

Interested to see who is affected more , us without Foster or them without Kyle Williams

Love Foster. Kinda stinks that he talked all that stuff about protecting his guys (Bell & Ben) then doesn't play.

 

After Watching Finney play, I think Foster is expendable. Finney is faster, more athletic and looks to be a better run blocker, maybe I'm missing something else but Finney seems to pull as well as Decastro, something Foster can't do and I think it makes for more dynamic run schemes.

 

Agreed but the best part you didn't mention is the fact that when the injury bug hits we have a guy just as if not more capable to step in. This time of the year that is priceless, when it comes to injuries I think we all know to well what a quality back up means...........

 

I always advocated for a guard that can pull in the other direction. We was so one dimensional in pulling the left teams was stacking their right side in anticipation of us going in that direction.

 

Maybe Foster can be that backup for down the stretch. I'm sure they are not going to rush him back.

 

Maybe but we have Foster signed to almost 3.6 mil the next 2 years and Finney is a fa after this year. I guess we worry about next year then but this is a nice problem to have......
