Agreed. No complaints here other than the bizarre choice to continue to throw rather than run on the late drives. I know they are supposed to be high percentage plays, but they stopped the clock multiple times and one led to an INT.

This guy gets it sure a blowout is nice, but you don't get extra points in the standings for it.

"But Jones still got over 300 yds passing "

(what they fail to mention is that 172 yards came in the 4th qtr leading by 17 pts, i.e. garbage time)

The Steelers have faced four first-place teams and split those games. This idea that you have that they can't beat teams does not fit the available facts.

I'm also going to guess that we go 2-1 in the next 3. So 7-4 after that stretch.

But I wouldn't be surprised if we go anywhere between 0-3 and 3-0.

This team is all over the place.

And we normally play close games where one or two plays determine the difference between winning and losing.

The 3 years we went to SB with Ben R. we had the luxury of another team beating Brady. Should we get far we made need someone else to stop the Bills.

The Chiefs own the Bills in the playoffs they can take them out, actually in 2008 the Patriots missed the playoffs and Brady was injured that year.

I am not convinced we can beat a plyoff team without multiple turnovers.

Anyone else think someone with 10 posts going by the initials B O happened to drop in here from another team's site? Or maybe a new screen name for someone else sporting a man bun? Quite likely one of these.

You've heard the expression "You make your own luck?" All part of the game. Turnovers didn't exactly bottle up Taylor and Warren yesterday because it was pretty consistent from early on till the end. IMO this game wasn't as close as the final score and stats indicate. The last 10 points the Steelers D gave up were almost gimmes with some sandbagging in there.

Isn't that part of the game, or is it against the rules?

    Passing by Colts by quarter:

    1st 92 yds
    2nd 16 yds
    3rd 33 yds
    4th 172 yds

Adjustments were made after the 1st quarter. Then garbage time 4th with a 17 pt lead.

This defense has to prove it can go toe-to-toe against a QB with a quick release. Jones does not have that and neither did Wentz.

Also, a reporter said this was the first time this year the Colts played on grass. Not sure if that is true or if it had an affect. Dome teams do have the disadvantage in the play-offs if they don't have home field advantage.

Barring significant injuries, I think that yesterday's win against the Colts gave us our winning season. Doesn't mean we will make the playoffs or win a playoff game, but I do think we get to 9 wins now.

Not impossible. They should have a well oiled and strong offense by the time they get to the Steelers......but, they are giving up a lot of points on defense at the same time. Kind of like the Bengals without the same amount of wide receiving talent. Burrow puts up the big numbers to compensate for the defense because for whatever reason, that is the way the Colts have structured things.

For the Steelers to win the North it could just come down to the head-to-head matchups with the Ravens - assuming that's the only real competition. If the Steelers/Ravens split then the remaining schedules are:

    Ravens - @Vikings, @Browns, Jets, Bengals, @Bengals, Patriots, @Packers

    Steelers - @Chargers, Bengals, @Bears, Bills, Dolphins, @Lions, @Browns

And the Ravens have a two game deficit to overcome. The division is still very winnable, especially with at least a split.

Ravens fans think they found their defense in their last game. Just like the Steelers.

It is part of the game. But getting 5+ turnovers is a rare game.
