How do we stop Gronk?? I am terrified he is going to absolutely destroy us.

    A crowbar comes to mind...

Other than that, we can't. We just have to try to minimize his impact.

Everyone is overlooking their new TE Chandler (I think) from the Bills. He did pretty good in their system with basically no QB to throw the ball his way. I would be afraid that they concentrate all their effort on Gronk just to have Chandler have a record day.

Thanks Gang! I think the best way to stop him is to 'keep him busy'. Best way to do that is to make sure you always get a hand on him at the LOS and 'combo cover' him (playing him inside/out) w/either a LB & S or 2 LBs. Make Brady go elsewhere

If Blake is starting, I suspect they'll be going after whoever he's lined up against rather than Gronk, based on preseason work.

That's when you want a ballhawking safety to jump the route... unfortunately neither Allen or Mitchell are really in that mould.

Does Haley still run the "bread and butter", counter play, like we have been doing, since I was a baby?
He seems more focused on the short passing game , substituting for the "power" running game Steelers Fans are used to...

As I was watching the "Drawing Board", I recognized, how much of a loss we took, when Pouncey went down... Expecting Wallace or Legursky, to replace that, is just not realistic...

Maybe, we will "scheme" around that?

    I can hope, right?!

Bottom line, is, even without Bryant, and Bell, this is ALL on Ben`s shoulders.
He plays well, hits his hot reads, and a few deep balls, with no mistakes, and we can still win, with D`angelo, keeping the D honest, up the middle, to set up play-action.
As usual, how Ben goes, is how we go...

    Go Ben!!!
