These asshats are defending their decision to air the Giants instead of the Steelers because they claim their viewing area has more Giants fans than Steelers fans due to their proximity to NY.

It's a flat out lie, or piss poor "research."

It's debatable if there's even more EAGLES fans in NE and central PA than Steelers fans.

At BEST, you have a handful of folks from NY who have housing in the Poconos. But I've lived most of my 45 years in this half of the state. I can count all of the Giants fans I've run into on one hand and have fingers to spare. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Steeler fan.

Hell, I've met more SEAHAWK fans than Giants fans. And that was BEFORE they ever played in a Superbowl!!!
