If you want to use that when you're smack talking with Ravens fans, fine, but Flacco is much better than that.

He's won more road playoff games than Ben Roethlisberger. He hasn't played well in all of them, but he's made some key plays, like the big pass to Todd Heap to set up the winning FG in 2008 against Tennessee.

He smoked us with a 92-yard drive and a game-winning touchdown with 8 seconds left...in Pittsburgh.

Yes, we've made him look foolish in big games and big moments: Polamalu's pick-6 in 2008; Polamalu's sack/strip in 2010; a bunch of turnovers in the 2010 divisional round; and a sack/fumble earlier this year in our second game. We've also made Peyton Manning -- obviously the best quarterback of all time, as his team is unlikely to win a single game without him -- make a comment about "problems with protection". We've made multi-time pro-bowler Philip Rivers look like a fool. Drew Brees -- not so great against us in 2005. Also in 2005, we played the team whose QB would go on to lead the league in touchdown passes, and in his stadium, we made him look like a fool.

Flacco isn't as good as Roethlisberger, Rodgers, Brady, etc. He's probably not as good as Matt Ryan or Eli Manning. He's probably not as good as Tony Romo. While Baltimore's offense is inconsistent and much of that falls on him, he's better than Dilfer.

I've defended the Ravens too much.

..........and Dilfer has won more superbowls than Flacco. The Ravens are better than that but I don't really see that much difference between the 2 QBs, except that Flacco has played for the Ravens longer. From my perspective, the Ravens are Ray Rice and the defense.

Dilfer never had to win a plafoff game against a Ben Roethlisberger-led Steelers game, though.

Very true. My whole point is that, with the Ravens, It's not about the quarterback. It's all about the running game and the defense. Flacco has moments where he looks real good but, so did Dilfer. I wouldn't want either one of them as my QB. That said, shut up Flacco until you do something more than beat a rival twice.

A bit of an ambiguous stat, Flacco is 4-3 on the road, Ben is 5-1 on the road (Superbowls aren’t played in Pittsburgh). Take away superbowls, Ben is 3-0.

Overall, Flacco is 4-3 in the playoffs. Ben is 10-3 with 2 Superbowl wins, 3 AFC Championships, and 2 wins over Flacco. No comparison.

The Ravens would probably rather have Dilfer tonight!

Hey flacco, if you are going to complain about a percieved lack of respect, you might want to go out and have a big game and win.

TBH I'm starting to see why the Rats fans hate Cameron so much.

He called what ... 40 pass plays and 10 or so runs last night (if I recall the numbers from nfl.com correctly) and didn't use his biggest offensive weapon (Ray Rice).
If the Rats want to win, their offense has to go through Rice, not Flacco. And if the Rats FO has even an ounce of brain, they'll make Rice their priority to resign and not Flacco - they can find another Captain Checkdown in the draft, they can't find a beast like Rice that easily.

I agree with him on the media thing. I had to turn Sportscenter off yesterday morning (for what I'm pretty sure was the first time ever). It might as well have been Tebowcenter. I could care less about the guy, but I don't want to hear hours of coverage about a single person period. The only reason it's a story is because a mediocre QB has made fourth quarter saves thanks to what he claims is divine intervention. It's so ridiculous I almost (almost) found myself rooting for the Pats just so people would shut up about Tebow.

Yeah - I laughed when Suggs got the head-slap call, then did it again 2 or 3 plays later without the call.

Harbaugh is ALWAYS blaming the refs. To him his team can never be beaten, so it must be the officials. Your team got a severe beatdown, man up and admit it.

I couldn't believe it when I heard what Harbaugh said about the refs and the lack of holding calls. What a classless piece of crap. And Flacco needs to shave that thing on his face. He looks like a '70s porn star. C'mon man.

I have to assume that Flacco only gets with women who look like 70s porn stars...the way those 70s porn stars look now.

Then again, Marko Jaric is sleeping with Adriana Lima, so maybe the reverse psychology works.
