This does not surprise me, very young and limited experience. The leap from a national championship team to the NFL is huge, only starting a dozen or so games also is limiting.

 

Interesting commentary about Broderick from Mark Kaboly. Everything that I see and read throughout many Steelers sites and/or Steelers Twitter states that Broderick has been handling himself very well. Granted, when going up against someone like Cameron Heyward.... Welcome To The NFL Rookie (article here)! Regardless though, I share the opinion of @jeh1856 and allow these three Preseason Games to decide whether or not Broderick Jones is worthy of starting Day One to man Kenny's Blindside or not. Realistically speaking, Game 1 can be an excellent starting point for Shaquil Barrett may not be a spring chicken but is still a crafty vet who has humbled NFL Rookie Tackles before. Joe Tryon Shoyinka is another that I anticipate to take a major leap this season after a dismal Sophomore Campaign. There is also the possibility of players like Logan Hall who could test young Broderick as well.
