My wife doesn’t even like going to night Steeler games because of the excessively drunk people

I used excessively because of course me and the little misses we are two well refined drunks at the games

 

I think that is the secondary. The linebackers they signed have been good elsewhere. I don't expect them to be stars, but I think improvement over last year's mess is a fair projection.

Of course, all of it is secondary to Pickett. His development will decide the course of the team for at least the next couple of seasons.

 

Come out of the game injury free.

The game will be televised on DirectTV channel 212-1 NFL Network.

I know Tomlin said all will play but I don't want to TJ Watt anywhere near the field.

I want to see how Pickett fares as well as Broderick Jones and Washington on Offense.

Porter Jr, Benton, Fehoko, Herbig, Holcomb, Roberts, Alexander on Defense.

I couldn't care less about the outcome other than everyone getting through it healthy, but I will be watching the entire game at some point. We get bits and pieces from camp, but this is our first real look at the 2023 Steelers. We can learn a lot about how individual players are developing and fitting in while seeing how the coaches might use them.

Where does Peterson play? Do we see him in the slot? What about Heyward's role on offense? Does he line up at fullback? Tailback? Do we actually see Green at fullback and Loudermilk at outside linebacker? How do the rookies play? How does Pickett look? Questions like those make a meaningless game worth watchin.

And I wonder if that is regional or national? Roughly what part of the universe do you live in.

 

It's a low bar. I understand why people don't expect Holcomb, Roberts, Alexander, and the rest to clear it. We have seen so many free agent inside linebackers flop in recent years. I think this crew is better, but hell, I like the Jack signing, too.

Sounds about right. There's absolutely no chance that this ends anyway but bad. He used to do $2 exacta boxes and then it went to $ 20. I got away from hm as it's too intense but I heard the other day that he bet (and won) a $ 200 exacta box. That's a $ 400 bet and him winning big is what will eventually be his downfall because a) he needs a bigger and bigger dose of the drug to feel high and 2) he'll get down big one day and try to get it all back and lose again and be buried.

 

If Curry has them tracking the ball carrier instead of jumping the first open gap they see like Jerry-O had guys doing I will consider it a win.

 

Jack signed with the Eagles yesterday. But he was considering going to trade school to be a plumber or electrician. He said that he had plenty of money but he couldn't just sit around and be inactive, he has to be doing something and he thought learning a new trade would be interesting and productive.

I have the NFL+ premium subscription, so I thought I would have to wait until 5 minutes after the game to get the full replay, but it does include the basic NFL Network channel.

 

To answer my own question: Cool it looks like it is going to be on the regular NFL network channel live today.

How does that mean sense???? They have only beaten us once in 3 straight years, and we play them twice a year. So make that make sense.

My enthusiasm for the start of something that almost resembles real football is now being tempered by my memory of how boring exhibition games really are particularly the second half
