It doesn't look like it can be seen on TV live, but I could be wrong.

Sucks. I'll probably listen to it then, and watch the replay.

Yea, looks like we lost the radio broadcast in my area, so I'll see if we fit the geographic area where it's streamed. Might look into sirus, but if they jacked rates I'll just go old school and rely on morse code broadcasts. LOL

Preseason games typically aren’t televised nationally although the third one vs Atlanta is on NFlN

First two are on locally on KDKA TV 2

Radio broadcasts are on 102.5 WDVE

Are all three on NFL network on delay? That's good enough for me. They usually show them the same night so I can record it, avoid the score and watch it the next day, though you have to avoid looking at the ticker on the bottom because the idiots run the score across the bottom ticker. I ran painter's tape across the bottom last year so I didn't slip up and see the score, lol. #ateup

I have tickets for our only home pre-season game against the Bills. It's way up in nose bleed section but I'm glad I'll at least be there to watch the game. I never get much of a chance to go and see a regular season game so I try each year to go and see a pre-season one.

    The NFL Network site states

NFL Network is the only network to show the entire slate of 2023 NFL preseason games, highlighted by 23 live games.

It does not give any more details on the non live games

When the game isn't televised live, I record it from NFLN to watch it later, knowing the score beforehand in a preseason game doesn't really matter to me.

I don't like knowing the score because if we scored 3 or 6, I won't even watch it because I already know our offense sucked.

I thought they did. I think regular season they have to block it out. I'm am old radio guy so that actually fine with me. However listening to Bill and Craig while viewing other interesting sites can get confusing.

Story of my life. Army recruiter sold me that MC was still a hot item. Never used it (except when I was in ham radio), nearly fifty years of di-da-dit and the ladies still are not impressed.

He originally called it Hammurabi's Code but later changed the name after seeing Robert Morse in a lavish Broadway musical. :smiley1:

IDK, I think Pre is also done. I know the site says in some geographical areas it is not available, which I think is the areas covered by the direct radio broadcast and the stations tha sign up for the network. We always had a strong FM station either out of Lancaster or Harrisburg, but evidently they did not like the standard being the standard.

NFL+ Premium will have all pre-season games (and regular season) about 15 minutes after game ends on the NFL+ App. Costs $80 a full year (OK $79.99). While I don't see this other option on new subscriptions, under manage my subscriptions they offer a monthly plan for $10/mo ($9.99) renewable each month - since the regular season runs 4 months it would be $40 or with 1 month of pre-season would run $50. Nice option for those with a bit of patience when game is not broadcasted locally in real time. Best part of this subscription though IMHO is access to every game - pre, regular and post season since 2009 anytime on any device. I kept losing my Sunday Ticket DVR archived games every time DTV upgraded my equipment plus when I finally dropped DTV a few years ago so those are long gone now. Not for everyone but with the expense of the new YouTube NFL deal, this is an option for the "broke dicks" in these parts.

Sorry, I do get carried away with cross-references and mixed metaphors................

In keeping with the "old man" JEH theme: The Code of Hammurabi is a Babylonian legal text composed during 1755–1750 BC. It is the longest, best-organised, and best-preserved legal text from the ancient Near East. It is written in the Old Babylonian dialect of Akkadian, purportedly by Hammurabi, sixth king of the First Dynasty of Babylon.

Then, wrapping in a "Morse" reference: Robert Morse, whose impish, gaptoothed grin and expert comic timing was a Tony-winning Broadway star as a charming corporate schemer in the 1961 musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” who later won another Tony for his eerily lifelike portrait of the writer Truman Capote in “Tru,” and who capped his long career with a triumphant return to the corporate world on the television series “Mad Men.”
