Amazon’s Prime Video service will stream an NFL wild card playoff game next season, giving the streaming platform its biggest live sporting event yet, a source familiar with the deal confirms to The Hollywood Reporter.

The game is the same game that streamed on NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service last month, garnering 23 million viewers. A source says that Amazon earned the right to secure the game thanks to a performance trigger in its deal with the league.

I'd probably be PO'd if I was younger but I get it's all about the $$$ and I won't be purchasing any more channels just to watch football.

It's something I hate, but it is what it is. Look at the prices of SB tickets, both start and re-sale, it is just what happens. If they find a way to make more money off a product, then they will do it, most anyone would.

Streaming is the best way to watch, but only if you can go to one source for all the games. I can watch every single NFL game on Dazn and I love it. I don't need NBC, Fox, CBS or any other stations. The god damn signal doesn't go out every time it snows. Even if my wifi goes out, i stream from my phone and cast to my TV.
