First league is created!

I wish you had seen it sooner too. We had to open the second league to the public to make sure it filled before the draft yesterday. The first league filled a long time ago. When we first asked for interest in these leagues, it seemed like we might need 3-4 leagues, but that didn't hold up in reality. Perhaps interest will be higher next year if this goes well.

 

15 minutes prior I think.

And I don't know the order either. It randomizes the order right before opening the lobby.

QBs: Drew Brees & Ryan Fitzpatrick

Analysis: Brees will play every week, except for his bye. During that week, Fitzpatrick is playing against Arizona which seems like a good matchup. I feel fortunate to get Brees with the #4 pick.


RBs: Trent Richardson, Doug Martin, Willis McGahee, Ben Tate & Michael Bush.

Analysis: I decided to go with a stable of ponies, rather than a few workhorses. Martin is probably the one guy who will play nearly every week. I am hoping Richardson can stay healthy but I do question his durability. Because of those durability issues I decided to take a couple of extra backs. McGahee should be solid but not spectacular. I took Tate just on a whim incase Foster should go down with injury. Although Bush was the last RB I took, I probably consider him my #3 as I really like what he can do on the goal line.


WRs: Greg Jennings, Miles Austin & Stevie Johnson.

Analysis: I love Jennings. Unfortunately Vincent Jackson was taken away from me 1 pick ahead, so I had to settle on Austin. Not sure how I feel about him, but I do like Johnson and may a ctually consider moving him into a starter's role, depending on Austin's durability and performance.


TEs: Jimmy Graham & Jermaine Gresham

Analysis: Graham will play every week and on his bye week, Cincy plays the Browns so I thought it would be a good matchup for Gresh.


K: Jason Hanson

Analysis: I decided just to take 1 kicker. Not a position I put much priority on so I will probably just dump Hanson on his bye week and pick up the next best kicker.


DEF/STs: New York Jets & Atlanta Falcons

Analysis: I probably waited too long to grab my first DEF, but I'll settle with the Jets. With their horrific offense I am hoping the D will step up big time. Mike Nolan has moved to Atlanta, so I think Falcons D could improve drastically.


Overall: I respect all of my opponents and their picks - but I will Crush you all

 

QBs: Matt Ryan, Josh Freeman, RG3

Obviously, Ryan will start every week unless something surprising happens.

RBs: Ray Rice, Michael Turner... Jonathan Dwyer on contigency

Starting 2 are very solid. Dwyer? Late round flyer with not much left on the board. Might have to scramble on the waiver wire at some point this season.

WRs: Wes Welker, Reggie Wayne, Vincent Jackson, Justin Blackmon, Darrius Heyward-Bay, Dexter McCluster

3 starters I'm very happy with. 3 bench that could be feast or famine.

TE: Brandon Pettigrew

Value pick later in the draft

Kicker: Rob Bironas
