Kitchens was kind of a disaster, but man, the Browns just keep digging bigger holes by going through head coaches like candy. They're never going to grow a team into something. It takes time to get out of a hole like they've dug over the years.

Not that I mind the Browns being terrible, but just sayin.

Jason Garrett will probably be fired tomorrow. He coached the Cowgirls for 9 seasons and they only made the playoffs 3 times.

Not sure what's going to happen there. Jerry has lost his edge lately.

How’s this for damning numbers: Dallas had the #1 offense and #9 defense this year, and failed to win a weak division. That offense wasn’t just #1, it was #1 by nearly 400 total yards over #2 (Baltimore).

Looks like the Panthers are going after Eric Bieniemy. I knew this would be his last season in KC.

The Browns will soon hire their 12th head coach since BB left in 1999. And they wonder why they keep losing...

They have had 12 coaches in 20 years while the Steelers have had 3 in 51 years. In fact the last Steelers coach to be fired was Bill Austin in 1968.

The stats man, look at the stats. Winning doesn't matter when it comes to being elite...lol

Bradshaw doesn't have the stats, he only knew how to win the big games...lol

Franco was over-rated, he should have lead the league in tds, yards, & broken tackles...lol

If we only still had AB, we would be elite on offense...

Edit: in fairness stats are the only way some great football players on bad teams get recognized. It gets ridiculous at times though.

Both are ridiculous despite being on opposite ends of the spectrum.

I would venture to say that 3 coaches in the last 50 years did better than any # of coaches on any team sans the audio/video experts parading as SB champs.
Fresh ideas & changing up the norm does work but not like keeping the assets that make you successful. At least not yet. Trying to think of a team that has been successful bringing in a new coach every 7, 10 or so years & i am drawing a blank. Denver maybe?
Anyway if it is plausible (bringing in a new coach every so often & not falling off your past success), the Steelers organization would probably be the team that could do it. Rooneys know a little about how to be brave in the face of the pissed off mob.

Edit: I just felt a sliver of respect for the Bungles organization for not sweeping the elephant of the playoffs under the rug.

2nd edit: be prepared for Cheats fans joining thesteelersfan in the near future to troll the better organization. Maybe after the first wildcard game.

Snyder had Schottenheimer and Gibbs and still found a way to mess things up. The next coach will make mad bank but will be climbing uphill.
