I don't think Fields will ever improve to a starter level QB. After 40 games, his completion percentage is just 60%. That is very difficult for a QB to significantly improve, especially after having already played 3 seasons.
Do we have #1 WR? And you do know that our O line is still bad?

Im guessing Pickens is #1 by default and he is one more diva tantrum away from being traded. Like I said what is going on with the Steelers org?

I'm willing to see what Russell has left. I was every gAme fields played and saw some of these same problems in college and not much has changed. Now he's going against better competition.

I think hope is the right word, with a reality that it may be hopeless in the end, lol. Even last year Russ was better than what we had most of the year, a few more longer drives and 1st downs, few less punts, maybe more FG's and even TD's, not miracles but just some decent O play, is better rested and perhaps for a few games we are not sitting on the edge of our seats hoping for a win (though we are used to that. For Fields, decline the 5th year, hopefully extend 2 years and see if that talent can me matured into a decent QB. I can hope and still know the odds are not high, but the investment has been so low it really is worth the shot.

I don't care about the winning percentage with either of their former teams, the Steelers are better than the Bears and Broncos .

I'm glad you came around regarding ChatGPT. Now if I could get my students to do the same.

Even with his improvements, he still wasn't a good quarterback in year three. I'm not convinced he really did make all that much progress. I think most of it was just adding a stud receiver.

Pickens is close to being a #1 WR, he led the league in 2023 in YPC with bad QB play, they will draft another good WR to pair with him too.

I think they are winging it at this point. Not sure how signing Wilson to a one year deal and then trading for Fields makes any sense. They can't opt for Fields 5th year option, which means both are on a 1 year contract. Fields isn't going to start, so not sure he will even be with the team in 2025.

These guys are a better option than running it back with Pickett and Rudolph.

He should leave the defense to professionals too. We've been getting shelled for several years now.

Tomlin should just don the pom-poms, like a good little players's coach.

We haven't had a #1 WR since AB. Pickens is a great #2 WR, but he's no Justin Jefferson.

No chit, you were probably a better option. But Steelers did finish with 10 wins last season. Not so sure with these 2 pieces of hot garbage tho. Problem is KFP didnt score but also didnt turn ball over. These 2aces think they are good and oops there goes another oops there goes another turnover. Lol
