This is what the draft seems to have, it's strong points.
I haven't even thought about team needs at this stage.

But a wild toss; I would imagine the Steelers could mine a pretty solid DB.
My general rule: Always draft along the lines of scrimmage. There's certainly some solid edge and OT's available.
No idea what they will actually do.

He might get another shot, but I'd be surprised to see it happen so quickly.

We're still in the thick of a playoff race now....
My con C arms are for us making a run this year.... I'll worry about all the other things when our season is officially over

Metcalf is under contract still with Seattle, Wilson went to Denver I doubt he's worried about lifestyle. Wilson's legacy would take a hit going to a rebuilding team like the Raiders.

I still think the Steelers felt they picked up both a short and long term answer at QB. If they do feel that way then they will try to sell Fields on staying as the BU with the idea of taking over once Wilson retires. Can’t see Wilson playing more than two or three seasons tops here.

Lot of moving parts have to fall into place for that to happen. Wilson not seeking a huge contract being one of them and Fields willing to stay if other teams pursuing him as a starter. I think what works in the Steeles favor is the culture here is probably much more appealing to Wilson and Fields from where they came from at their previous stop.

I can see this as a potential possibility. That said though, I only say this as 2025 is not good for teams needing a QB in addition to Pittsburgh likely learning the lesson of attempting to pick a QB in Round One in a weak QB Class.... *cough cough 2022*. 2025 should be about bolstering the roster on whomever is to inherit the throne left behind by Big Ben. Should that be Fields?! All the better. If not, 2026 is looking pretty damn good for QBs; something I suspect Pittsburgh has also and will continue to look into come the 2025 Pro Day Circuit.

Long story short?! Should both get one more shot at it?! I personally wouldn't mind this at all. Will the team be able to keep both?! That remains to be seen; doubly so with Russell Wilson wanting to prove he can still play at a very high level.

Between me and you, EDGE might be a surprise pick for the team. Not early round barring some extreme circumstances but mid rounds for certain. However, if there is one player I'd recommend you'd watch, Landon Jackson from Arkansas is a very intriguing but very possible Round One Steelers pick. For that matter, just by looking at his highlights, he screams *Pittsburgh Steeler* in every sense of the word.

Among my personal Round 1 options for the Steelers, he is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Tyleik Williams though remains the prohibitive favorite at present however.

    L. Jackson received a neck injury, and was taken to the hospital in Arkansas final game. He's been released, but nobody know the totality of the injury yet.
