Favorite Ben quote of the week

From the news story on the Steelers website.

Sitting duck huh? you mean like in the 49ers game where you were a sitting duck and you did hurt it worse and it wasn't the smartest thing to do? Really? REALLY?

 

Now about that thorn. Does it make any sense. Seems like Ben does what Ben wants to do. If Batch plays, we beat the 49ers and win the division.

 

LOL I doubt if batch would have beaten the 49ers

 

I was talking to a friend who is another Steeler fan during half time of that game and he summed it up pretty well when he said, "Batch could have thrown two interceptions as well as Ben".

 

That is going a little far in saying Batch would have won that game. We let #11 for them Throw at will on us and never got a short field the whole game. I am not blaming it on our D. But they did not help in this game. Long fields the whole game. Would have been tough for Batch to win.

 

I am pretty sure he would have been more mobile and that the team could have run plays out of more than just the shotgun.

 

The 49ers D is no joke, Batch wouldn't have beaten them. However at the end of the game yes Ben should have come out.
