My 2nd Moderna shot gave me the runs... plus flu-like symptoms. But hey.... I don't have to worry about Covid-19 destroying my lungs with chronic effects.

I'm sure you were all gung-ho about getting vaccinated until King Cheeto lost.

BTW, and totally unrelated, I opened a plastic bottle of Heinz Mustard yesterday for lunch (thought of you of course) and the squirt orifice badly malfunctioned and I had to open it and scoop it out. So much for advanced mechanisms. Perhaps you could bring it up at the next Board meeting and impress them with the age old concept "Form follows function". Thanks HM. I know you'll get to the bottom - or top of this.

Sadly if I had that side effect I wouldn't notice. High blood pressure, damaged hearing from being stupid and young at a manufacturing plant and current job around noisy conveyor system.

I got my first shot a week ago today. I've been home two days in a row due to side effects. Chills, aching, temperature spikes, the runs, headaches and all. Hoping to shake it off later this week.

Just listening to the Phillies game at work and they announced 100% capacity after (or on) June 12. So if there is not another outbreak things are looking up.

I'm really hoping to be at near normal by the fall Blast. My son's condition makes it so that he is very dependent on routines to make it through the day. Past year has taken a toll on him. My wife asked me what I thought was bothering him so much and I said the lack of his routine. If 1 is a good day and 10 a total meltdown he has been starting his day at 9.5 for the last four months. So just praying for being near normal before school in the fall starts.

I’m going on 20 days with sleep disturbing tinnitus: my old tinnitus ramped up as well. Some people have had this for 3-6 months most clearing up by 6 months. Kent Taylor owner of roadhouse committed suicide from severe tinnitus. Imagine your brain screaming at you 24:7, and when you turn the fan on it gets louder so the fan gets drowned out. You nod off and wake up minutes later with your brain screaming even louder you can’t hear anything else. It’s a nightmare that has no cure but time

I'm really hoping the Pens can hang on until PPG can at least be at half capacity. I don't think I have ever seen a team that dependent on the fans for energy but the bubble playoffs had them just seem uninspired. If this is a final run for the remaining core 3 they will need the energy.

Not really, its amazing how hard it is for some of you to follow the rules. You send a big middle finger to TTF every time you do it.

    Pretty freaking selfish.

It seems one side of the aisle gets more leeway than the other. Don't worry... this is pretty much standard for all Steelers forums. I'm used to it now.

Glemm is going to come all the way to Pittsburgh to enjoy it from the parking lot sipping wine coolers. He's going to be so confused when they ask to see his vax card with ticket.

I suspect tailgating will be okie dokie. Unfortunately with all of the development around the stadium, tailgating spots have diminished. If you plan to do so, find a parking pass as soon as possible.

With that said, I don’t think parking passes actually get mailed out until mid July. I think that’s when I receive mine. Unfortunately I’m in a garage next to the stadium. Sucks for tailgating. Good for in and out.

Yes I’ve had buttholes that blew fireworks near me ear as a kid and that tinnitus was fine. This new one is loud and annoying like a high frequency dog whistle haha. Also for severe cases those people need meds to just get by and in my case, not being able to stay asleep even with melatonin starts affecting you

Like, yeah a Ravens fan is going to be at a LVR at Steelers home game.
The wife and I had the Pfizer vaccine. She just had some shoulder pain. I had no side effects after the first shot. About six hours after the second, I had alternating fever and chills with a crushing headache. My temp. was 100.7. So, I popped a couple of Tylenol PM's and crashed on my couch for about 2 hours. When I woke up, I felt like a million bucks. Everything was gone that quick.

BTW Thorn, here's hoping your troubles smooth out. I can't imagine the hardship that people with kids have suffered through this pandemic. Better days ahead my friend.
