Has anyone heard what amount of fans they expect to have at Heinz Field this season?

I think Gov. Wolf at present allows 25% capacity to events. Pirate fans don't mind cause that's all they get anyhow but my Phillie friends are bitching and moaning about the limited capacity.

Obviously it's a fluid situation and by the time NFL starts up I'm thinking the country will be in much better shape.

I watched the Pirates on TV the other night from PNC park. If the attendance from that game was any indication, they'll be lucky to get 28,000 fans for the whole season.

I thought I read were the Pens can host 50% capacity at The Big Paint Can for the playoffs after this Monday. I've heard on talk radio where most officials believe that by the time college and pro football starts in the fall, if there are no big surges, they might be at 100%.

Could they be the only sports franchise in the country to see increased attendance due to COVID?

I believe after Memorial Day, we are upping the capacity here in PA - I thought it was 75%? Not sure though.

For what it’s worth, they had the season ticket holders pay in full.

Come on guys, you each got a political dig in, leave it at that.

Hopefully by Fall, things will be back to normal and have full capacity or pretty close.

How about this formula: for every empty seat at PNC this season, the Steelers will be allowed 2 fans to enter each game. Sounds like full capacity sell outs at Heinz Field to me. :hmm:

    Oh puh-leeze.

You started this thread, genius. The chances of this thread NOT becoming "political" was slim to none.

    Speaking of vaccines....

Nobody told me a possible side effect was screaming tinnitus that wakes me up every 15-30 minutes at night that can’t be masked sometimes. It’s what I get for playing the game lol
