Adrian Robinson has passed away at age 25. Cause of death unknown.

Adrian was a major fan favorite during his rookie training camp in 2012. He was unrefined as an OLB (as expected for a rookie UDFA) but a relentless pass rusher with a high motor, earning him a lot of love from this board. He had a strong rookie preseason and managed to stick as an extra OLB we don't usually carry. He played on special teams. In 2013 we were desperate for a running back and traded him for Felix Jones.

He didn't stick with the Eagles, and then played briefly for the Broncos, Chargers, and Washington. He had signed with a CFL team.

I read yesterday that it was suicide, but haven't seen a confirmation.

I can't even begin to imagine the pain someone must be in to take their own life.

Suicide is a last cry for help even though when its successful there gone. I just delt with a woman last night that threatened to shoot herself over ongoing relationship problems with her husband. She cursed me up and down while I was transferring her to mental health professionals but when I released her she looked at me and said thanks and went straight back to blocking the pain out by lashing out. I was glad I was there for her even though it seemed she didn't want us there; it's too bad the same couldn't have happened with him. God rest his soul; RIP

The cry of suicide is a cry for help. Usually, when someone has made the decision to go through with it they are at peace with themselves. Anyhow, sad situation all the way around. It is a shame when a person doesn't see another way out. RIP!

That's what I've always thought too. Man something has to seriously break for you to go against your natural instinct of self preservation. This is really sad to hear.

Wow, so sad. Permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Prayers to the family and friends he left behind.
