Lost in all the poor play,

How about that fake FG!

The tv camera view from behind the kicker scared the stuffings out of me!

I thought it was a bad snap coming right at me!

Good desparate stuff.

A score to start the second half would have been nice.

I only liked it because it worked.

 

I wanted to go for it anyway and was thrilled when the play happened. My one regret is that since Big Ranger scored it you can't really call it a fat guy touchdown.

 

That caught everyone off guard. I'm glad it worked out. Its a good thing, imagine all the dumb Tomlin threads there would be.

 

I loved the design and the guts to call it and it was well executed.

But I miss not having a power back that can get you two freaking yards. They are good on redzone percentages as long as they are a little further back or run a gadget play underneath.

I am old school but I think there is a place for a big guy that can get you two yards even if they know he is getting the ball. Still the safest way to score from the 3 yd line in.

 

Seems like when we do cool fakes we end up losing. Ben fake spike to AB for a TD we still lose.

Crazy fake FG for a TD we lose.

I wish we could do one in a win sometime

 

Splashy style points make me feel good sometimes.

Does AV always line up on the right side for field goals? Not his usual side on the line and I wondered if that would have telegraphed anything to an observant player.

 

I miss the Bus too.
