Agree on the offense... Steelers will struggle in September, but it will improve in October and November. Question is.. will it be too late by that time? Steelers might rack up a lot of L's.

Disagree on Haden. He's one of the best and most consistent players on D.

If Ben is healthy for all 16 games we will win at least 8 of them.

10-6, honestly. I think they'll be a good team. Not great, but good. They'll probably get blown out a few times and squeak through a few you wouldn't expect.

I think we make the playoffs as a Wild Card.

Also, I hope JuJu rips through some of AB's old records. Whether it's likely or not, it would make me so happy.

Oh, I do think the defense improves drastically. We may not be great, but we'll be solid. I think we've filled a number of holes that have killed us.

Really unsure how the Steelers will do this season. I do believe the winner of AFC North will be the team who does the best with the 6 division games. I actually think 9-7 will be the division winners record.

JuJu stats (or other players) is not important to me ... If the steelers win, our passing game, including JuJu being productive, that's what will be important .... If JuJu breaks a record of AB this year or other years, it's going to be a bonus, but the team success is more important, what we did not have in the Killer B's era and what the Steelers had before this era with Roethlisberger (especially between 2004 to 2010 )

I think JuJu is going to be a player like Hines Ward (the win before the stats) ... I Hope he'll stay humble, but it's a good start and I think it's going to continue for him.

Agree as well. Let’s hope an improving defence can keep the team in some of the early games. If they are even 2-2 after the first month I think I’d be hopeful they can make a run for the playoffs.

    1. If you like the recent product you are part of the problem.
    2. My expectations are realistic which is exactly why I believe Art has screwed the pooch and "nothing" would surprise me.
    3. The Steelers owe "me" nothing! The Steelers owe their fans much better than they have delivered of late.
    4. Not people, just the mental midgets:smiley1:

    Part of the problem?
Again you shouldn’t be insulting people in the manner you do just because they have a different opinion than you do.

So, clearly, you have defined you are not a Steeler fan. Yet you are posting on a Steelers message board. Hmm..

Troll: Basically, a social media troll is someone who purposely says something controversial in order to get a rise out of other users.

Hoping they make the big dance and then anything can happen. Is this team as talented on offense as they were the last couple years? Of course not. But. BUT, maybe, just maybe they have the right mix of youth and veteran grit that adds up to a championship. Yeah, I know. Many, many things have to go right, but right now, everyone is 0-0.

What I love about the Steelers is that we can have hope in every year .... The steelers have questions mark right now, but they have young talent, so if things go right for they have a chance, especially with Ben as QB ... we have a chance with him every year.

A team like the Pirates in baseball, there is no hope right now.

I just want Tomlin fired by mid-season and interim coach takes us to the SB. Here is what really is going to happen:

We lose to the brownstains and a couple other really bad teams
We beat the really good teams except the opener...
We go 8-8 and almost there, Tomlin keeps his job for a 20 year extension
Cheats win another SB for some F reason

I "think" you are smarter than this but you just seem to want to pick so have at it. What I can tell you for sure is that it will take someone far more intelligent than your recent BS to tell me whether or not I am a Steeler fan.

I'm curious why you assume they will struggle? Of course a talent like AB can't easily be replaced but at the same time, an asshat like AB can have far reaching effects, and I think Ju Ju has the proper mental make-up to do okay at the number one and just get better. As far as Haden, I love the guy! I am just a little concerned about his age and durability.

Steelers always play sloppy in September, even when they win. It's like night... it's gonna happen. Offense will be out of sync... and D will have some serious growing pains with new starters.
