According to some guy named Ben, Rogers ankle should be healed and he should be better than he was last year last year. Rogers as compared to Fields and Wilson had seven more touchdowns and about 300 more yards last year. That equates to about 70 points. That ought to be worth two or three more wins.

    12-5

In a way, I'm predicting the opposite.
I think he will look like a HoF player, for the opener, week 2, and probably the week 6 game after the bye.
For the rest of the season, that he will look like Wilson during his slump.
If the Steelers play Rodgers every game, I think he will hit the wall early and have trouble getting back to his rested state.
(If they do something bizarre like play him in alternate games, or somehow get huge leads early so Mason can do reliever duty, then my prediction would change.)

When Dara Torres competed at the 2008 Olympics at the age of 41, she showed that older athletes can peak as well as younger athletes. (She was 0.01 seconds away from a gold in the sprint freestyle.) The limitations are that she had to scale back on how often she could give a maximum effort, and that it took much longer to recover from maximum efforts. Also, it helped that she was single-mindedly devoted to exercise and recovery, and had a spouse to accommodate her plans.

(Brady played well into his 40s, but he had several advantages that Rodgers does not.
He was single-mindedly focused on football and his health. He had a spouse that made more money than he did. He didn't have any late-age injuries that caused him to miss games. The refs and league rules protected him. And his strength was reading the defense, which wouldn't be as affected by declining physical skills.
Rodgers has those to a much more limited extent.)
