But it's all Tomlin's fault Ben sucked that game and threw 4 interceptions .

Many of us clueless fans are correct for wanting to move off from Tomlin. It's obvious he has grown stale and too ultra conservative with his reluctance to hire OCs and DCs who will allow the Steelers to win more than one playoff game. The standard is mediocrity with Popcorn.

I didn't realize Cowher was personally responsible for introducing all of those players to the game of football and teaching them each position.

I can see why some folks always refer to them as "his players"

Do you know for a fact that our tendency to hire less experienced (cheaper) coaches under Tomlin is his decision? Does Tomlin control the team’s personnel budget? I know that I have had instances where I’ve found a great director or manager candidate for a leadership vacancy under me, but the company wouldn’t pay the money necessary to bring that person in. He could be in the same situation.

Nevermind the fact Tomlin inherited a 3-13 team.

Oh? Did the NFL take away 5 wins from the 2006 Steelers?

    They were 8-8.
We have never been under 8-8 since 2004. Our last real losing season was 2003.

Pickett's story has yet to be written. You cast him off before he's played an entire season. You continue to be a fool. Pickett's supporting cast is much better than LJ's at this point. Pickens, Harris and Friermuth are miles better than anything Ravens have at this point in time. Truth.

2007 Steelers lost Porter and Haggans, but they gained Harrison and Woodley. Your boy popcorn, drafted Woodley and Timmons, but that doesn't excuse 14 years of stagnation.

Exactly. Nobody can be written off that hasn't even played a whole season of NFL.....nor should anyone be glorified after just one good year.

It's better than anything LJ has ever had.

I casted pickett off before he was drafted. So every single person in the football world is a fool cause everyone at some point from players, coaches, gms, scouts fans, etc.. all had someone prior to them being drafted that they were not sold on at the nfl level.

LJ easily had the best supporting cast ever assembled for a running QB back in 2019. Every piece was there. A superb run blocking offensive line. Solid RBs that were legit threats in the running game - Ingram was a star RB at the time and him, Edwards and Hill combined for nearly 2,000 rushing yards. 3 legit pass catching TEs to kill opponents who played “run first” with play action. A great defense to put him into situations where he didn’t have to lead a passing attack to come from behind.

So you think everyone currently in the upcoming draft will be good?

You said no player can be written off until they've played a full season. Everyone entering the draft currently hasn't played a full season so therefore using the previous logic you just used, we can't write any of them off as not good enough at the next level according to what you just said.
