Your Fears are no greater or no less than any other man...Sometimes I fear they will listen to me ...Most times I fear they won't.........

I hear ya but as hard as I try to lower my expectations or emotions they still always manage to boil over. I didn't participate in the game day thread last week because I was saving some energy to fight off the flu I had but I still managed to find the energy to be furious with our play and not to mention the refs

Yeah... I still haven`t mastered that Zen-like art of being able to watch the game, without yelling at the tv screen...

Apparentley, that is a big shortcoming in my character traits,

At least according to my GF...:lolol:

I thought I was making progress, by not breaking/throwing things...

It doesn`t help, when they play the later games, and I have time to indulge in my fondness for alcohol, before the game even starts, either... (A legitimate character flaw, of mine;))...

Neither of which mattered against Seattle, however..

I refrained from cracking a beer, until half an hour before the game started...

I kinda expected us to lose that game anyway...

And yet, I was so pissed at the end of it, that I ripped one of my favorite Steeler`s shirts off my body, and threw it in the trash, at the end of the game...

    Lowered expectations, my ass!!!

The fact that we could have controlled our own destiny to get to the playoffs(at least for another week..)

And the feeling that we COULD have, SHOULD have, won that game, made me snap...

So, now, I`m regretting tearing that shirt up, and looking forward to going back to Heinz Field to get a replacement(That`s why it was one of my fave`s... I got it at the stadium)...

We BETTER beat Indy, but.. I`m not expecting it..

Somehow, I don`t think that will make it any easier to take, if we don`t...:frustrated::tequila:...

GO STEELERS!!! WE CAN LOOSE NO MORE GAMES!!!:herewego!::herewego:

I try not to get so upset- but I just can't help it. I know we can do better. (Except our secondary. They just SUCK.) I yell at the TV & sometimes throw things. There's nothing more frustrating than losing because of STUPID decisions and mistakes. Or inconsistent refs.

    Here are my fears...

    • That Tomlin will make a bad decision at the worst time during the game.

    • That Tomlin will be here until he retires- and he won't retire for another 10 years.

    • Who Tomlin bring in & put on our roster next

    • That 3rd & 8 will be a stupid screen pass and 3rd & 2 will be a long bomb.

    • Our entire secondary.

    • If our receivers are going to catch when Ben does get them the ball

Those are small things. My BIG fears are...

•• I fear the direction our organization is going.

    •• I mentioned this before.
I fear that we're running out of time because Ben's running out of time. Who knows how many good years he has left. He deserves another Super Bowl. A lot of the guys do. The rate we're going, he won't make it past the first round... If we can even make it to the playoffs.
