I think the only thing the Cowboys have going for them is that they're playing at home. I can see them winning this game.

They are 1-5 at home, I dont see any home advantage with that record, and half of their fans wont even show up tonight to watch those losers, so, they have lost 5 out of 6 games at home, advantage, Jets.....

We'll see. I don't much care either way. Maybe this will be the game where Dez's head actually explodes on the sideline. That'd be cool!

Well, I care because a dallas win would help us a lot, but being realistic they dont match up well with the jets to present any hope of them getting a win tonight....

Very little chance the Jets lose tonight . They have a better passing game, they have a better running game , and they are just as good on Defense .. Plus the Jets are fighting for something and the Cowboys are getting placed for the draft ...

No help from the Cowboys don't even think about it..lol

You never know. Stranger things have happened. That's why they play the game. I'm not betting them but I wouldn't be real surprised it they pulled off an upset. Would certainly help the Steelers.

This is not the game to count on the Jets losing, that will come next week, against NE.

The Jets will definitely win tonight. The Giants had the Jets dead, and utterly blew it. Dallas won't get that opportunity with their QB situation. If we're going to get a cushion, it will be NE that gives it to us.

Here we are again at the end of a season relying on other teams to screw up to steal a wild card spot.

Up to the Chiefs to screw up vs the Browns, Raiders and Ravens. KC has won its last 7.

I wouldn't be surprised if KC wins out with that schedule.

Pretty sure the Steelers must win out and the Jets lose a game to make it.

The game matters little to the Steelers. Even if the Jets lost, the Steelers would still have to win out to be the 6 seed. If the Jets lose either of their last 2, the Steelers can get the 6 seed with 2 wins. Because tonight wasn't an AFC game for the Jets, it did little to help the Steelers.

The Steelers need one of the Jets losses to be an AFC one, so their conference records stay even.

No the Steelers will hold the tiebreaker vs. the Jets at this point if they win up tied either at 10-6 or 11-5, so the Steelers just have to win, no help needed.

Amen. And if we meet the Patriots I want us to beat them, twice.

I looked it up and the Steelers have the tiebreaker based on common opponent win %.

No guarantee the Jets won't finish 11-5 and the Steelers 10-6.

Had the Jets lost to the Cowboys last night and the Steelers lose today to Denver, the Steelers wouldn't have won a 10-6 tie. That's why last night was pretty meaningless from a Steelers standpoint. It wouldn't matter in the tiebreakers and the Steelers still would have needed to win out or have the Jets lose another game.

Of course, there's no guarantee but the Steelers losing to the Broncos is less likely than the Jets beating the Pats. The Steelers will be favored in all 3 of their remaining games (unless they've clinched by week 17 and have nothing to play for) and the Jets will not be favored in all their remaining games.

If the Steelers don't get in, it's not because the Jets didn't beat the Cowboys. It will be because the Steelers didn't take care of winnable games and the killer loss would be the KC game.

While everyone is focused on the jets, the chiefs have to play the rats today in baltimore, if they go in there over confident the rats could pull off the upset, and with a pitt win today we move the chiefs out of the seeding for the wild card and we are in; there is no guarantee the chiefs will win out especially since their last game is against their division rival, raiders, yeah, they could possibly lose two of their last 3...........

They certainly can lose, but they have been very businesslike and consistent. They play good defense and don't beat themselves with mistakes.
