If Dak stays healthy and GP doesn’t go rogue I’d agree.

Wait until CeeDee gets most of the throws from Dak. We'll see how happy GP is after that. Ticking time bomb.

Chances are good that Cowboys are gonna be a total train wreck this year. Cowboys and Steelers will both be drafting in the top 10. :lolol:

Popcorn never lets us draft in the top 10. I’d assume 18-20 range.

We'll see. There's 3 players that have to produce in order for Steelers to have a decent record: Broderick Jones, Troy Fautanu and Kaleb Johnson. Any one of those 3 fail... Steelers will be in a tailspin by mid October.

It would be good in the long run if they have a top 10 pick and I don't think it will happen...But even if it happen, this is important to have a HC who can develop this young QB and I can't trust Tomlin on that

We will have to see when Tomlin actually gets a good young QB to develop. Since Ben left all we have had is Rudolph and castoffs.

Pickett was a castoff? The jury is still out on him... but last time I checked, he was a first round draft pick by the Steelers in 2022. As it stands now, Tomlin/Canada failed to develop him.

Mason was a 3rd rd Pick and KP was a first. So either terrible picks in which he gets a share of the blame or terrible development.

If Pickett can't win the Browns starting job does that mean Stefanski failed him? Or maybe he just isn't that good .

They don't need to lose to gain a top 10 pick next year . Did the Chiefs lose the year before they chose Mahomes?

If you want your franchise QB be prepared to give up 3-4 draft picks.

Exactly. Every time they, or any of the media does stuff like this, I like to go back , and look at how well they did the year before. It means nothing, but I get a kick out of it.

Dude, just get used to them saying stuff, just to say stuff, and then they get made when You ask for proof, or show they are wrong. I guess Chuck Noll couldn't develop Qbs either since only one out of , I believe 11 he drafted turned out good , and another turned out ok, oh and another was ok ,but under another HC.
See how stupid that is. LoL, but they don't think, the just feel, and then write what they feel, whether it's true , or not. I could do this with some of the great HCs ever.

Noll developed 2 QBs after Bradshaw that actually won playoff games... Malone and Brister.

Don't even get me started on Cowher and his playoff victories with average QBs.

They won playoff games because of the team , not because they were developed into great Qbs. Don't try that crap, I watched them, and Cowher developed Neal, not Noll.
You brought up Cowher, I didn't.

I didn't say O'Donnell.... I said Brister and Malone. I agree. Absolutely positive that Cowher developed Neil O'Donnell.

How many playoff victories does Popcorn have with QBs not named Roethlisberger?

Neither was a good Qb. Stop. They won because of the team, not because they were developed into good Qbs.

Hard to call it bad luck when the teams were down by at least 21 points in each of the last 6 playoffs game....The Buffalo Bills are a another story, same for the saints in the 2010s

Steelers were usually done by halftime since the AFC Championship loss to Patriots after '16 season. The loss to the Browns was over after the 1st quarter. :roflmao: It sucked at the time.... but now it's funny as hell.
