Ive always thought Chris Berman had an issue with the Steelers. After seeing his top Superbowl plays, im now convinced. The Holnes touchdown is ranked 4th with the David Tyree helmet catch ranked as 3rd.. I didnt see what the number 1 was but the 49ers ..the catch was 2nd.. Im frankly tired of that play as well.. It was nothing special compared to the Ben to Holmes TD... I dont know where he ranked Debos interceprion return to end the first half but knowing that Patriots jock rider it wasnt to high either...

He doesn’t have an issue with the Steelers, but Berman loves the 49ers Montana days. I think he might have been in the stadium for that play? I forget. I don’t think that his favorite team though.

So much of these things are subjective. The top plays, players, teams, etc. are as much how the voter feels as how significant they are in context.

The older plays have a sense of nostalgia that the newer ones do not. "The Catch" will more times than not be regarded higher than plays of this era just because of how it is remembered by old farts like myself. Now, since it was of no relevance to the Steelers, I have no affinity for it. So I agree that it wasn't that special.

ESPN was so desperate they had to bring this mummy and his side kick back :lolol:

And those 4 jackals on the NFL network gameday are unwatchable.

Now I can watch some Cynthia Frelund though...

With all of the options with Hulu live, streaming, etc.... there's no need to watch pre and post game ESPN anymore.
