Home field advantage is supposed to be a home game. Stadium is half empty the last three games and people leaving at halftime on a routine basis. Shame on you die hards, fans can win games too with fan noise and it looked like a morgue in there.

I think us fans have no reason to judge about the team giving up when us fans never gave them any momentum and always being negative about everything that went good. Spoiled fnckers we are wanting perfection. This team is still a decent team and you all think they were the jaguars...

I was surprised at all the no-shows. I understand the "protest" part of it, but even still, fans need to support home games.

Definitely a factor in the closing moments when they were driving. No confusion, not having to fight through any crowd noise at all.

Not literally, but I'm sure if this team was 9-3 going into yesterdays game, even with the snow, it would have been a full house. But since the team has struggled, that's enough of an excuse not to go out in the snow.

the jags are winning and may overtake us in a couple of weeks. there were some pretty bad road conditions pre game with forecasts of ice. I'm sure that had something to do with it.

That's just how it is in the NFL now. The Skins played in front of an over 1/2 empty stadium yesterday as well. A lot of fans won't show up for a losing team but the weather was part of it. Someone snapped this picture outside D.C. yesterday.

We really haven't had "home field advantage" since we moved into the new stadium. It doesn't hold in the noise because of the open in and it just doesn't feel like we get any advantage. Maybe if we start winning and playing good ball we will bring in more fans.

Baltimore had the same conditions, basically the same record and the fans were cheering like crazy against a bad team. So don't give me this crap about the product on the field being bad and that they called for a bit of snow mixed with rain. If steelers would have won the game we would've been in the drivers seat without the fans help that's for sure....
