He was late for the walk though Saturday and it wasn't his first violations of the team's rules.

This team and discipline issues. This kind of stuff didn't seem to happen when Potsie and Aaron Smith and and Footie were around.

Are there any real leaders on this team? I mean besides the guy you ask to help you with your celebration dances.

 

Some of the stuff mentioned in the article happened when those guys were around.

 

Might be discipline, but I also think he just wasn't in the game plan. Steelers wanted 2 TE's out there to run Lev Bell around.

And just to add to that Ben's stuff happened when those guys were here and. Porter got shot when those guys were here. Davenport took a dump in his girlfriends closet when those guys were here. James Harrison slapped his old lady around when those guys were here.

 

It was disciplinary bench by Tomlin. Must have did something on or off the field coach didn't like. Tomlin does that from time to time, but what does he know. He is just a Superbowl winning coach that doesn't know sh*t right.

He benched Dwyer for the same kind of stuff. He benched Mendy for not having it together as well. One thing I will say is that I would really respect coaches that sit their "stars" for not towing the line. I know they can't because the pressure to win is just so intense these days but when Singletary done what he done a few years ago I supported the spirit in which he done it. He didn't care who Davis was. He was sending a message that no one is bigger than the team and that's something I totally agree with. In today's environment though it is becoming increasingly difficult to relay that message when owners are investing so heavily in stars and expecting them to be on the field at all costs.

 

Santonio Holmes had his problems during that time.
