I asked about it in the gameday thread, both he and Coates were not seen until the game was pretty much over. I wonder if they made the choice to go max protect.

Coats played on the first drive and then reinjured his hand. He did come back late.

 

No. I just realized he wasn't out there. If I accidentally got a jab at PWP then bonus.

 

I did't see him listed either but they ran with three TE's a lot and used Brown in the slot and Hamilton outside. Not sure why we didn't see them try the same stuff that Edelman was doing with Rogers seems like it would have been tailor made for him.

 

Who knows? Seems that Cobi Hamilton is making the most of his opputunities though.

 

He was active, but had a grand total of zero snaps. With Wheaton out, Brown and Coates, both hobbled at times, you would think they would have called his number. Wonder what the deal is? Who's Cornflakes did he crap in?

Dave and Dave were talking about this on The Terrible Podcast. He looked to be receiving treatment on the sideline, stretching, etc. If he was hurt during the week and not listed the Steelers face disciplinary action from the league. Perhaps he was hurt in warmups.

On the broadcast, I'm sure he was listed as the no.2 receiver. I thought it was strange he wasn't out there more as well. Does anyone have a breakdown of the snap breakdown by player?

 

So we effectively played with 3 WRs, given Coates was hardly in the game as well. One of which was a guy promoted from the PS that week (who did have a stand-out game, mind).

Man, when we're healthy we could destroy the Pats...

Ben talked to Cook and Poni today - said Eli was healthy. When asked why he didn't play, Ben said he has to be "more focused".

Maybe they just dressed him in case of emergency, because it sounds like he didn't practice well.

 

Yep, all Haley needs is Pro Bowl talent at every position and he'll be golden!

 

I wonder if he's thinking too much about moving to safety.
