You really have to look at the other options when we drafted at 28. We did badly need a safety. WHo was available? AT that point IMO he was a reach . He's not very good but what I would expect out of a 3rd rounder really.

Sure would have been nice if we used that pick on Darious Leonard or Lamar Jackson.

Leonard would’ve been a better fit for us than Jackson. We would’ve wasted Jackson

 

some good points with the missed tackles and being in space....I guess we will get a better idea what the FO thinks when we see what caliber of player is brought in pre-draft. Later round guy may mean TE stays at SS and vice versa. And with the FA signings.

 

He was horrible pretty much all season. The guy never turns around to make a play on the ball. He just throws his hands up and runs into the wr. Angles are horrible when trying to run down ball carriers. Often blows coverages. The guy should have never been a first round pick. Mocks had him going low 2nd to 3rd round. We reached badly on him as a pick and it shows on the field. He was the worst starter on defense, especially after Fitzpatrick arrived. Barron was the only one who could give him a run for worst defender on the field.
