Edmunds has arrived

Guy played lights out today.

Yeah, he looked great today. Loved seeing him in the spotlight with the picks.

 

This whole defense is on one hell of a roll! I don't think there's any dispute who the best defense in the league is right now.

 

Can't help but root for him. He never b!tches or makes excuses. He seems like the kind of kid you really want to see succceed because he just keeps working at it. If he has turned the corner, this defense could enter the realm of being really scary to play against.

 

He has really turned it around this year. I thought he was a lost cause. Good for the young man stepping up.

 

Agreed!!! It may have been a long time coming. That said, it was well worth the wait!!


All he needs to do is sustain the ability to make plays on the ball. Doing that will greatly increase his development.

 

This is probably going to come out wrong.

I saw an interview with Edmunds and he reminded me of a character from Wallace and Gromit.

I had to pick my jaw off the floor when I heard he had 2 picks.

 

I guess Edmunds arrived the day he became a full time starter. I don't think Edmunds will ever be a great NFL player. He is a solid starter and a versatile player that the Steelers use in different ways. It will be interesting to see what they do come contract time regarding Edmunds.

Being a VA Tech fan...I've always been rooting for Edmunds to succeed. Clearly he has arrived.

Overly dramatic much? He hasn't arrived any more than one game against the Bengals supposedly made us the best 3rd down defense in the league. He had a good game. Let's not go crazy.

He made two plays. He has made three big plays all season. Your standards are quite low. I'm thrilled that he caught a terrible pass right into his chest and managed to make a tough catch on a ball he misjudged. There is no crow to be eaten. He's playing better this year, but he is still a below-average player the Steelers reached for when they had superior options available such as Darius Leonard and Nick Chubb available to them.

 

I wasn’t trying to make anyone eat crow with my post? I thought he made some nice plays today. Other than the two picks he hit the Jags QB as he was throwing and Minkah made an INT.
“Lights Out” may have been a bit too much, but he did play very well today.

 

I wasn't responding to your post. I was responding to Heinz. It is fair to be excited to see him making plays. I'm excited to see Edmunds making plays. I'm rooting for him as I would any other Steeler.
