I visited the Browns message board to see what the reaction was to being denied by yet another coaching candidate. And the result was pretty amazing. If you need some good entertainment, take a visit. That place is a mess.

I'm afraid I would get a virus if I went there. Or maybe even a digital std.

That's what they get for firing their coach after one season. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. I thought this Browns' fan had it right:
After this debacle, Haslam needs to fire this front office and hire a true Championship team builder like Bill Polian. The firing of Chud was an ill advised, poorly thought out move made even worse by not having a candidate ready to take the job. So now we're back to 3rd or 4th choice like last year, if the coach doesn't have final say over the roster (which appears unlikely), the results of next season are going to be worse than this years.

    LMAO...
    That organization is COMPLETELY dysfunctional!!!...
Our local paper, here in Akron, is even asking readers who were "Due paying members at "The Factory of Sadness", who sacrificed money, and frostbitten extremities"...To see a team, with a losing record, 13 of the last 15 seasons, since they have been back...
"Why do you do it?!?!"... What keeps you loyal to the Browns, after they abandoned your city..., or have you jumped ship, and started rooting for "gasp" the Black N Gold, or another team???
We will publish your stories in an upcoming article...
I was actually starting to feel sorry for their fans, until our 0-4 start...
Granted, they had been thru a LOT, and were just outta their skins, happy to see the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers, doin worse than them, for once in most of their miserable lives...
But the taunts I had to hear the first four weekends of last season, erased any sympathy I had for any of "those" fans.(I still have some good friends who root for the Browns, but, they were realistic, and didn`t talk too much crap at the beginning of the year... I haven`t piled on, recentley, when they sucked, and we were going to Superbowls)...
Co-workers, on the other hand... I have felt quite justified in laughing at, after we beat them twice, finished with a better record, and, Oh Yeah...
    STILL HAVE A HEAD COACH!!!...
    LMAO...
What a deal they got on Davone Bess, too!!! LOL... LOL... LOL... Only in Cleve!!!
What a joke! (And honestly, a shame, because once upon a time they really were a good team...)
Like back before the merger, as I am constantly reminded by their fans that USED to accuse ME of living in the past...
Until Ben came along, and got us a couple rings, to shut that argument up!!!
I do give their long-time fans a lot of credit...
I can`t imagine suffering thru what they have since `99, but I would stik with my team, if it ever came to that.
It`s just how I was raised.
But the "suffering" we went thru in the 80`s, or the beginning of this year, doesn`t even come CLOSE to what they have endured, since their team "came back", in 99...
    Thanks, CHIEF!!!!:applaud::hello::stogie::herewego!:

And now this nugget out of the Senior Bowl

    - The Cleveland Browns organization is not getting much respect here at the Senior Bowl. The attitude towards the Browns, specifically the front office, from personnel people around the league has ranged from disparaging to downright nasty. Several comments were passed at the South’s afternoon practice that few are surprised the Cleveland franchise cannot find a head coach considering “those in charge”. In fact choice adjectives were used by front office people here in Mobile to describe “those in charge” in Cleveland.

Wow. The Browns organization is officially toxic.
They are officially in a tail spin and spiraling quickly into the dirt.

At some point the league is probably going to have to step in and assign a group of temporary staff members to run the team.

I've not got to see this story yet but I saw a headline that their coach said "I'm not going to be like Rex Ryan" or something.
