Grade??? LOL! I grew up in the Pittsburgh area. Played ball in college (WR). I have fairly reasonable insight into the game. Now if you care to debate me, or question my "confusion", have at it. Then, I WILL ask you some pointed football questions. We'll see who's confused, pal.

 

What you seem to have difficulty grasping is it doesn't matter from where, or how, a team scores. What truly matters is they score. So you tell me how no scoring outside the RZ played into the 7-3 record the last 10 games?

I had a coach in college who was never happy. Always looking for the black cloud in the silver lining. No one ever had a good practice or game. In my junior year, a week after catching 11 balls, he found a way to tell me how poorly I was doing in practice the week after that game. He lasted another year and was replaced. Red Zone scoring is no guarantee. Apparently, it means something to you, though. Explain yourself.

 

But this is a problem when the offense is one of the worst in the league like last year especially in the first half when the steelers were 2-6 which cost a playoff spot at the end....More big play it would help a lot since the margin of error would be bigger for the steelers

Nothing like trying to manipulate statistics to make a point. While it is true Dallas led the league in red zone scoring percentage and the chiefs were second w/ a difference of less than percentage point. That stat ignores the fact the chiefs led the league in red zone scoring attempts per game while the cowboys were more than 1 scoring attempt less per game.

 

Seems like you'd make a "wonderful" football coach. Tell me? Are you being paid for your insights? Are you a HC somewhere? I'm going to guess, "....No!...."

I can assure you football players in the season spend almost no time re-living the past. Why, you might ask? Well, during the season for one day a week, the past is re-lived through watching game tapes of the prior week. Film is further broken down to address specific groups. But once evening comes, it's over. The objective becomes the next opponent. What I find remarkable is you don't act like a player. You spend time discussing the negatives. Why do you do that? What reward do you receive?

 

The final analysis is ALWAYS who wins the game. If you think otherwise, then you would be entirely wrong.

 

This now too negative when I say things I want the steelers to be better in 2023?

Even Tomlin said last week the Steelers need to be more explosive.Tomlin must be a steelers hater too!

I'm pretty sure every player feels the same thing, to get better. What's un-necessary is people spending day-after-day "Analyzing" the negatives. Tell me how this sounds like you being a fan?

Do you have kids? Or maybe employees? Do you spend every day telling them about the things they didn't do correctly? What kind of a leader is that? You tell me.

 

It's a steelers forum where we talk about the steelers.....You're new to this forum, so you have to get used to seeing us discussing about the steelers and seeing our opinions what we like or not about the performance of the steelers
