    When did he say that? Maybe he meant Green. Hard to say. I'm surprised there isn't a 'sign Brian Hoyer' thread yet.

    Would rather have a healthy Grad back. I saw quite a few games with Hoyer this year, his play has dropped off a lot. One game was worse then anything I have seen from a QB not named Vick.

    Is there such a thing? Hoyer and Grad aren't all that different these days. So long as we add a decent backup.

    Id rather have Gradkowski back also...cant underestimate a player that has been in the system and is a second pair of eyes for Ben..."like charlie was"..also Im biased because I grew up in the same neighborhood as Bruce and we both played QB for the Brookline Knights...of course it was 20 years apart..but I was damn good too..lol

    Hoyer sucks, in the playoff loss to the Chiefs he had 3 or 4 ints and a fumble. I would take Grad back instead.

    I don't see where Golden has anything to do with bringing in another S (not saying they will or won't, just speaking in general). He only signed a 3 year $5M deal, I don't remember the structure and any guarantees but I know its not much. So say its only $1.6m a year he's making, he made close to that last year as it is. I don't think Will Allen will be back (baring injuries or something crazy), so Golden at the worst could be the main backup to both S positions (plus a top STer) and be used in certain formations like last year. Hey who knows he could surprise us and earn the starting spot, and that makes this deal and even better one.
