Drew Brees in Black and Gold?

If he goes back to playing for Bruce at his age and health he will be scraped off the field

 

Ben must retire after this season. He gave us a lot of winning and a lot of excitement. But we can't go another season without production at the qb position. Drafting his replacement has 0 guarantee of working out and could leave us in a worse position than we are now. We are NOT getting Brees, but he would be a perfect fit for a couple years until a young stud could supplant him.

But I'm beating a dead horse here.

 

Yeah but isn't it a team option? Either way not gonna talk about him until he is available. As for the others, not sure what Luck's health is and that is my concern with him as we are a win now team with a good QB. Not interested is Brissett or Keenum but I would like Cousins. I also feel that any QB would love to come here with all these weapons and a solid coaching staff. Throw in a defense that is young and improving.........oh man!

 

Heard today Luck is getting stem cell, and the word going around is the team botched the original prognosis, so I see them and Luck parting ways, especially if Brissett has a good second half. Team option for Brees yes, but after all he meant and did for the city after Katrina, they will never let him walk. If they do, they are idiots.
