I know. I know. Sign them sign everyone, but in this case I would consider either one.
I would consider neither.
Justin Layne will be better in year two. I am not as worried about Mason as others; nevermind the FO.
I'm surprised Cam hasn't landed in Foxborough yet.
Even coming off the injury I think Dre will take a 1 yr show me deal in MN where he can reunite with Zimmer. Also so he can prove the Bengals made the wrong call signing Trae Waynes and cutting him.
I think that NE is going to pick up Andy Dalton day 1 of the draft. He would seem to fit better than any other QB available in Belichicks system. JMHO.
I think the Bengals will hold on to Dalton to help ease Burrow in unless they get an offer they can’t refuse (they won’t). It would be risky and possibly counterproductive putting Burrow in immediately.
NE may roll with Stidham and Hoyer to see what they have. I don’t think Bill would want a big personality like Cam leading the team either
from a Steelers POV it’s a pass for me on both. I’d happily take Cam if Ben was gone, Cam is a great player when healthy imo
I’m not. Cam has had success with physical ability, not being a savvy QB. Bill has had a guy who wins with smarts and savvy for 20 years. I don’t see Cam fitting at all.
I was a Cam fan until I saw him back away from a fumbled ball like it was a live grenade in the Superbowl loss to the Broncos.
I almost forgot about that. Incredibly odd the way he pulled up with the ball flopping right in front of him.
Cam is going to have to take a huge, huge pay cut...Coming off of a major injury, with his playing style and age...He doesn't have much leverage
Hopefully, we can pull off a Charlie batch pickup with Cam.
Newton is going to take a big pay cut, but not that much of a cut. He's not going to be in the Steelers' price range and I doubt he would sign somewhere that he has no chance to start unless there is an injury.
I don't want Kirkpatrick, either. I've seen him made to look bad far too many times. The Steelers already have five cornerbacks who are likely to make the team, including a solid pair of starters.
I'm not interested in the Steelers signing either of those two.
There was a lot of this and a lot of missed coverage's from him as well so I have no interest in Kirkpatrick.
As for Cam that is a hard call. Cam has talent and if he has health problems well he would be coming here to start and that would give him time to heal. I have been saying all off season I want a vet back up with all the questions for Ben and the performance we saw last year when Ben went down. IMO this team is too talented to be held back from inferior play at the back up QB spot. I would have no problem with Cam or Winston here. jmo
Probably one of the best stiff arm plays ever and yet we couldn't win a SB with the incredible talent that the Steelers had.
He played defense?????? Not sure when Bell was here offense was our problem.......
He could stiff arm.
76 is running in a circle.
why would Cam want to be a back up, I just don't see the logic with all the Winston/Newton talk
What team is offering Cam a starting spot? We will sit by and see him go to another team as a backup and be stuck with Mason and daffy duck
