What’s the obsession with some of these guys wanting Lamar to get paid? I personally hope the Ravens give in and pay the man but they’d be wise not to. He’s a freak physically but a midget mentally and the offensive scheme has to be simplified in order for him to have success. He’s a ME player who lacks true leadership skills. I’d much rather have a promising Kenny Pickett right now than a Lamar Jackson who’s already showed everyone what he is (a physically gifted runner but a limited, inconsistent passer) and what he isn’t (a selfless leader) and can only deteriorate from here given his knee and ankle problems over the last couple of years.

I agree with everything, but the mental midget part. Dobbs is a very smart Man....yet He can't read the field. It's processing speed . Sorry people that don't believe in it. (You know who You are...LoL).....I don't think it has anything to do with intelligence. I've seen boxers with very quick processing speed, and believe Me ....they were not intelligent. It's a natural gift....some can get better at it, but not to the extent of someone born with it can get.
Almost every Qb in the league can show You on the board when ,and to whom the ball must go, but in real time.....with the bullets flying....they can't see it fast enough.

DeCosta threw every wideout on the team under the bus. A good part of the reason they don't produce has to be on the QB.

I'm over at the Ravens message board, and I'm trying to figure out which is more delusional:
The Seahawks giving up 4 firsts, two seconds, and a third for Jackson, or
The Falcons giving up Kyle Pitts, three firsts, three seconds, two thirds and a fourth for Jackson.

Are one of those teams hiring someone from the Browns’ front office?

I guess they're using an actual draft simulator, but I don't know which one. But it's got them picking 1st rounders in the third, getting JPJ mid second round, stuff like that.
They're actually freaking out because they only have five picks in the draft this year, which is one less pick than they had in the 4th round last year.

Savvy move here. Don't want to say they can move on from him, but let him see how many teams would be willing to scrap their offenses and pay him that guaranteed money. Take the draft picks if they are. Trade up to get a guy this year because you have those in your pocket!

I look for him to set out the year now. I was thinking he would have played for the $45 million, but he will not sign the $32 million Tag.

Fascinating move by the Ravens, I thought they’d use the exclusive tag and that he would play the season on that. Very good chance he plays elsewhere now, Lions, Jets, Falcons will all be interested among others

Dolphins, Falcons, Commanders, Raiders and Panthers already said they're not in the market. At this point, I say he'll be a Raven come camp.

I was just reading an article about more and more teams saying”no thanks”. Why? Well, maybe they see what do much of us see in terms of his weaknesses as a passer. I want him in Baltimore on a big contract, but someone else will need to step up and sign him to an offer sheet that is big enough to strap the Ravens’ cap going forward, but not so big that the Ravens let him go.
