I give him credit for playing thru it but he seems injury prone.

I assume they will grab a bunch of UDFA to try to find a RB3.

the kid tried to go in that game but didn't last long. he's a good runner when healthy. possibly late or an UDFA.

Johnson had good production in college but that 4.68 forty is really slow for a RB, that's Benny Snell type of speed. But I do think we have to upgrade the RB #3 position if we are going to run the ball a lot. Godwin Igwebuike is the current 3rd team RB and we need to improve from him. Anthony McFarland is out of the NFL now and has signed with the San Antonio Brahmas of the UFL so I guess he will be taking his "scat" skills to the minor leagues now.

my thoughts for the 3rd spot was craig reynolds from the lions. he's a free agent this year and they have a pretty good stable out there. he could be a good 3rd guy and actually get used here. he's like their forgotten guy until they need him. he then shows up and runs well. doesn't have a ton of milage on him.

Just because you visit every Sunday home game and have yet to be drafted is no reason so get salty about things.

Next time don't skip working out at your pro day.

What the hell do we need an old Catcher for? I'm sure the Pirates be happy to pay him league minimum and make him our DH. :roflmao:

    Minus the "E" Fisk.

Let’s just finally shore up our future at QB and WR. Those two have to be our biggest concerns at this point.

    Actually yes. :drinks:

For example, last year, Darnell Washington, Keeanu Benton Broderick Jones and Joey Porter Jr were all brought in for Pre Draft Visits. If we go back to 2022, Chris Oladokun and Mark Robinson were Pre Draft Visits as well. 2021 and 2020 didn't have any but 2019 featured Diontae Johnson, Ulysses Gilbert and Justin Layne.

If anything, the team added Darius Rush to the Practice Squad from last season; another Pre Draft Visit.

Projected in the 4th. he would be a good addition. Fast off the ball, good defending the run.

He will go earlier than the fourth round, he has had a good showing at the Senior Bowl and the Combine.

interesting you brought up Chris Oladokun. I think he now owns 2 super bowl rings. Not bad for a guy that I don't believe has taken a snap during the actual season for the two years he's been in the league

He was. Now he's looking like a 2nd rounder. Great senior bowl and combine.

First day of in person visits. Steelers have T Taliese Fuaga, WR Xavier Leggit, and OL Travis Glover in today (Thursday). Looks like a first rounder, a second rounder, and a 6th/UDFA.

Check that- Steelers had edge/dt Darius Robinson in earlier in the week. Looks like a 2nd/3rd rounder.
