    Actually, his second season in Buffalo he went 9-7, which was their first winning season in a decade. He exercised an out clause in his contract due to change of team ownership.

    I'm aware why he left but the players tend to want out in his two stints. Jacksonville did the same with Marrone but is currently a cesspool under his watch. Personally don't think he would be an upgrade over Tomlin. I would like him working with our oline.

    I was thinking that as well. At 56 going to Alabama is really a smart move. They have how many OL guys that are going to be drafted this year, with a program that already has guys behind them that are ready to show they belong as well. In a high profile program he can easily turn that into a better opportunity, possibly OC or even HC at the college level, or return to the pros at a Line coach and Asst HC title, ready to step in as an interim if the HC fails.
