I remember seeing a breakdown on Dotson up against Buckner when Dotson was a rookie. In the first half they helped him but by the second half Dotson was left on his own and handled Buckner just fine. On running plays he washed him down the line a few times.
Now all I hear is we need a LG I don't agree. Dotson has the strength and size maybe better coaching might help so players are not missing assignments 13 or 14 weeks into the season.
We don't need a complicated offense we need one that executes the play as close to perfection as possible. Its inexcusable that players are missing assignments and saying well its a new group of OL men is crap other teams change personnel and have them coached up.
