I don't hate him , but I do wish we would have not tagged him. I also hope Tomlin makes him earn his game reps and gives Conner the starting role . In a perfect world Conner would come out playing like a beast and continue to do so forcing Bell to be in a time share at best.

Let Bell beat and bang between the 20's and let Conner get the redzone work.This will keep Conner fresher for the Teams future and keep Bells TD stats down which will effect his future value.

 

That's all by his choice, Art Rooney said he would like to see him come to camp early this year, everybody knows he is going to be behind in at least 3 games and maybe more and will most likely be more prone to injury early on by missing out in the weight room where he could make his body and most importantly his legs stronger to take the hits he is going to get......

 

I'd almost rather lose to Cleveland and have him watch from the bench at this point. Put Conner and Ridley in all game long.

 

If they rescind the tag does he have to sit out the year or can he sign elsewhere? I'm tired of this guy but I hope the Steelers have learned their lesson with Blount and Harrison. I could see him playing with the Patriots for a year out of spite.

 

I seem to remember after the last time he held out until the first week, he was not playing up to his normal quickness when running for the first few games. If he plans on playing somewhere else for big money next year, he should be trying to be in the best shape of his career this time.
