Our pass defense is ascending, but regardless of what the rankings say I think Denver still has the best overall pass defense in the NFL. Justin Simmons is the best safety nobody’s ever heard of.

Broncos have the best defense and the Steelers are not even close. Better pass rush, better man coverage, better against the run. Much better against Brady.

Sorry, but you lost all credibility when you wanted to put DHB at safety.

Edit: Sorry I was wrong. You lost all credibility when you made those silly predictions about Redman.

Because Eli Manning is an anomaly at QB. He can lead his team to beat an undefeated Patriots team in '07 and make the best defense in the NFL look like a joke in '17. This after going 0-5.

Not me. We will continue to struggle against teams like NE if we can't stop the pass. It's important both ways, but we HAVE to limit the passing game.

It wasn’t Manning, and it wasn’t because of Denver’s pass defense (the strenuous the team) breaking down. It was 3 Broncos turnovers to 0 Giants turnovers, and 148 rushing yards vs 46 for Denver. The Giants won by running and playing good defense.

I think the Broncos run defense is good, but not great, and their offense had been playing over their heads earlier in the season. The Giants holding Denver to 10 points didn’t surprise me. Running for 148 and controlling the clock was only a mild surprise.

Why? I stated maybe we should move another WR to CB , and he is now a CB in the NFL . Look at our Safety play the past few seasons , I still don't see a player playing above the line. Maybe DHB could have played better ? IMO no doubt he could play single high better because we don't even try with the guys we have now.

As far as Red goes he was as good as Blount he beat him out . Was the wrong blocking scheme for his style . With Power blocking Red would have been a very good RB .

Sorry but Manning did not lead them past NE, their defense did when they held Brady and company to 14 points.

Manning only threw for like 250 yards and the offense only put up 17 points. Not very often you can beat NE with 17 points.

I really wanted the Steelers to draft him after the week of senior bowl practices. Mayock loved him.

Did anyone see during the second half one of the two pass Mixon caught Shazier looked right at Mixon and didnt start moving towards him until the ball was almost to him? It seemed like such a strange play because he has to choose between coving Mixon or having contain on Dalton taking off running. To me I would have cheated a bit more toward the sideline and Mixon trusting his straight line speed should Dalton tuck it and run.

We are 3rd in points, 2nd in sacks, 1st in pass, 15 vs rush, 2nd in total yards.

Not top 5 but top 3. Offense got to keep scoring

Right now, I think the defense may be a little better than our high powered offense who is led by Chris Boswell....

A little “Live Die Repeat”? We do seem to relive the same “drive stalls/Boz FG try is good!/repeat” scenario...

Just looked and we are pretty bad in redzone defense, like 26th or something. I think last year we were top 5. Still, our defense doesn't bend, sometimes breaks. Better to get the ball back to our offense and keep our D fresh, then keep allowing drives and our D gets fatigued + less scoring opportunities.
